Daybreak Family Services
offers a wide range of opportunities to the community to receive help and support from our services. While it is difficult to fully state the range of services offered, the following are the key components of the Daybreak program:
COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENT
A key part of treatment is a thorough assessment of the individual and family issues present so that an appropriate diagnosis can be made. Our clinicians will use their experience and skill to complete assessments in a caring but effective manner to ensure the most accurate treatment plan of action possible. After the assessment is completed, a detailed treatment plan is developed and shared with the individual and/or family so they will understand the focus of treatment.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Experienced clinicians who are licensed or license eligible will meet with individuals in one on one sessions to address problems that have been identified. This approach takes as much focus and commitment from the client as it does from the clinician. Sessions will usually be for 45 minutes one time per week, but may at times occur more than one time a week. The value of individual sessions is clearly the opportunity it presents for an person to meet one on one confidentially and be able to express and work honestly on improving themselves as a person.

FAMILY THERAPY
Where possible, Daybreak Family Services believes strongly in the importance of including the entire family. This allows the opportunity for skills to be taught about behavior management, or communication or just an opportunity to improve relationships. On occasion, the clinician may meet with the parents alone in order to work on specific skills or issues that need to be addressed without a child being present.
GROUP THERAPY
Working with children and adolescents in groups has long been evidenced to be a very effective means of treatment. Children and adolescents often feel more comfortable expressing their needs and feelings in a group of their peers.

PSYCHOSOCIAL REHABILITATION
In addition to our clinical staff, Daybreak Family Services has staff who are skilled at teaching children and adolescents important social skills and daily living skills. For a young child that might mean learning how to organize and keep their room clean, or how to keep track of their homework. For an adolescent, it might include learning how to manage a bank account, or learning how to apply for a job. These skills of daily living and more are extremely important for children to learn in order to be successful.

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS (EAP)
Daybreak Family Services is also experienced in providing employee assistance programs to companies of any size. Research clearly shows that companies who offer this benefit to their employees have less utilization of sick leave, less substance abuse problems, and employees who are more satisfied and productive on the job. We would be happy to visit with your organization or company about how we can improve productivity by making our services available to employees.
