Conley Tunnell, President/CEO
Conley has been active in Oklahoma children's services for over 30 years. He has served as the Oklahoma State Department of Human Services Assistant Director and the Division Director for Children and Families, as well as the Director of Residential Treatment for Dillon Youth Services. He has twice served as a Commissioner for the Oklahoma Commission for Children and Youth.
Additionally, Conley served as a Trainer for the National InterAgency Counterdrug Institute, training community teams, DEA, FBI, and ATF agents on Drug Demand Reduction, both in North America and South America. He has been a faculty member of the National Juvenile and Family Court Judges Association and keynote speaker for the Oklahoma Office of Juvenile Affairs and a trainer for Child Welfare League of America.
David Peters, LCSW, Executive Director
 David has over 25 years of clinical experience in both mental health and substance abuse treatment. His focus has primarily been working with children and families.
His experiences include adolescent inpatient treatment at Hillcrest Medical Center, serving as Director of Treatment for Eagle Ridge Institute statewide, developing and running a residential treatment program in New Hampshire and working in wilderness treatment in Utah. David also was in private practice in Tulsa for 7 years. Prior to helping start Daybreak Family Services in 2008, David left the country to work at a treatment program on the island of Samoa in the South Pacific. He is a graduate of George Warren Brown school of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis.
Melanie Morgan, LCSW, Senior Director
 Melanie received her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma.
She has experience working with adults in the fields of mental health and substance abuse. In the Tulsa area, she has worked for Brookhaven Hospital and 12 & 12 substance abuse treatment center. She has also provided mental health services to children and adolescents in the public school system.
Suzy Ewing, LCSW, LMFT, Clinical Director
 Suzy has a Master's in Education and a Master's in Social Work. She has worked in the Social Services field since 1973.
Suzy maintains a private practice doing Licensure Supervision for Clinical Social Workers and Marital and Family Therapists. She has been a Clinical Director since 1997. She has a strong foundation in Narrative, systemic, strength based, family and collaborative therapies and has experience working with adults and children presenting with a variety of challenges.
Valerie S. Reynolds, M.A., Human Resources Manager
 Valerie received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Tulsa and her Master’s degree in Human Development from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota where she became certified in the teaching method of Unconditional Love and Forgiveness and applied that to her work with rape/sexual assault survivors.
She began working in the health care industry in 1999 as a medical assistant before transitioning to corporate human relations and advertising in 2005. Valerie brings a commitment to employee development and excellent service to the Tulsa community.
Angela Lindstrom, BHRS Supervisor
 Angela received a Bachelors in English from Pensacola Christian College and entered the behavioral health field as a Case Manager for Eagle Ridge Therapeutic Foster Care. As Home Developer for Eagle Ridge, Angela developed foster homes and trained therapeutic foster parents in Tulsa and surrounding communities to work with high-risk children and adolescents.
Angela has extensive experience in school-based and home-based settings working with clients and their families. She joined Daybreak Family Services full-time in 2008 to develop and supervise Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services staff.
Kuma Turner, LMFT, Admissions Therapist
 Kuma received her Bachelor’s degree in Family Relations and Child Development from Oklahoma State University and her Master’s degree in Human Development and Family Science with a specialization in Marriage and Family therapy from Oklahoma State University.
Prior to working for Daybreak Family Services, Kuma worked for Family and Children's services providing mental health services for adults with serious mentally ill diagnosis. Kuma has also worked for Stillwater Domestic Violence Services in Stillwater, OK providing individual and family counseling to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and overseeing parent education programs and children's services.
Anna Lawmaster, Tulsa Office Manager
 Anna brings with her a background in client services and office management in the insurance and behavioral health fields.
Barbara Pinkerton, M.Ed., LPC, Program Director, Sand Springs
 Barbara heads up the Sand Springs School based services, which is a satellite operation of 18 staff, working within the Sand Springs Public Schools and outlying areas.
Barbara brings a rich background of public education, mental health (including both outpatient and inpatient) plus business and training to this work. She is active in the Sand Springs Chamber of Commerce and other civic organizations. Barbara earned her undergraduate degree from Purdue in Child Development and her Master's degree in Education from Northeastern State University. Her passion is to work collaboratively within the community with adults for the success of youth.
Regina Underwood, BS, Sand Springs Office Manager
Regina comes to Daybreak with a diverse background in business, marketing, and human relations.
Currently, she is finishing her Master's degree from Southern Nazarene University in Marriage and Family Counseling. She holds two Bachelor's degrees, one from Rogers State University in Business Administration and Marketing and the second from Southern Nazarene University in Family Studies and Gerontology. Her commitment to her position as Office Manager in Sand Springs is to support our therapists and rehabilitation staff so they can focus on providing excellent service to our clients.
